We all use windows and in that scenario we need to lock some of our drives but unfortunately if we want to lock it we need to shut down our computer but I have one trick for you guys especially for you who is reading this article. I will completely explain how to do that in just few seconds I know that what problem occurs it really sucks if you want to give you PC to someone else you can't just do one click and lock that drive also you can't ask your friend or someone to whom you are lending you computer to wait for a minute to let the computer to shut down and then again restart and ya its here you can use it now. Its not practically possible. But here you can simply follow the steps given below.
The procedure I would show you is really easy what you need to do is that you need to just create a file and whenever you want to lock your drive just double tap on that file and your drive will be locked. This was the complete summary of what we are going to do.
Step 1: Create a Text Document.
Step 2: Paste the text give below in Text Document.
"manage-bde -lock -ForceDismount D:"
Step 3: Press Ctrl + S to save the document. Also select file type as All files and give extension .bat.
Step 4: Now save the document wherever you want to.
You will see the File icon like Gear
Now to check if it is working or not what you need to do is that just unlock the drive and then lock it by opening this file that you have created.
