Here is the basic way through which you can find your smartphone.
But here are some requirements that are needed to Find a smartphone that is lost.

1. Your phone should not be switch off.

2. Your Phone should have the same google account logged in which is on your another device      (I will explain this in the article later.)

3. There should be a device that has the same google account logged in that was in your phone that is lost.

Step 1: Log into the same google account on any device.

Step 2: Search for Find My Device on Google

Step 3: Click on the first website coming there.

Now you will see the device that is linked to your google account.
You can completely control your device from here.
Like,
You can see charge of your phone
You can erase the data
you can ring it
You can Sign out of all your google accounts 
even you can locate the exact location 

Step 4: Click on the Play sound and your phone will start to ring even if it is in silent mode.
